School District Preschool Initial SEIS/SCIS Applications
Questions may be directed to the Office of Special Education Preschool Policy Unit at听 OSEapplications@nysed.gov.
These business portal applications allow a school district to apply for initial Special Education Itinerant Services (SEIS) and/or initial Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) programs.
Staff that are authorized to submit and certify surveys on behalf of the school district can find the applications on the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System (SEDMON) in the SED Business Portal under Special Education 鈥 ASEP,听 School District Preschool Initial SEIS and SCIS Application
Approval letters will still be issued and emailed to both the superintendent and application contact person once the submission meets application criteria standards.
School District Process to Apply for Initial Approval of Special Education Itinerant Services (SEIS) and/or Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) Program(s) via SEDMON
1.听Go to the 快猫成版视频 Business Portal ();
2. Click on the 鈥淟og In鈥 button;
3. School District Superintendent or authorized data entry user: enter your username and password for your school district.
4. Click on 鈥淪ED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System鈥 under 鈥淢y Applications;鈥
5. Select 鈥淰iew Surveys for Special Education 鈥 ASEP;鈥
6. Find the report titled 鈥淪chool District Preschool Initial SEIS and SCIS Application;鈥
7. Click on 鈥渧iew鈥 to begin/continue to input information required for the application.
The task of inputting information can be delegated by the Superintendent or Building-Level Leader through the State Education Department Delegated Account System (SEDDAS).听The Superintendent or Building-Level Leader retains exclusive rights to certify and submit surveys. Regional Need
Regional Need is required for initial approval of SEIS and/or SCIS program(s), but is now included within the SEDMON application process.
